SALON POLICIES

Appointment Policies

We accept both Appointment and Walk-in customers.

Scheduling Appointments:

  • Appointments can be scheduled via phone, online booking system, or in person.
  • Clients should receive a confirmation email or text message with appointment details.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Clients must cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • A late cancellation fee of $20 will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time.

No-Show Policy:

  • Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice will be charged a no-show fee of $30.
  • After two no-shows, clients will be required to prepay for future appointments.
  • After three no-shows, clients will be blocked from making appointments.

Late Arrival Policy:

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment to avoid disrupting other clients’ schedules.
  • If a client is more than 20 late, their service time will be given to a walk-in client who is present.

Walk-in Policies

Service Availability:

  • Walk-in clients will be accommodated based on stylist availability.
  • Priority will be given to clients with appointments, but walk-in clients will be served as soon as possible.

Wait Times:

  • Clients will be informed of the estimated wait time upon arrival.
  • Walk-in clients can opt to be added to a waiting list and will be notified when a stylist is available.

Check-In Process:

  • Walk-in clients must check in at the front desk to be added to the waiting list.
  • Clients are encouraged to arrive early, especially during peak hours, to increase the chances of being served promptly.

Salon Etiquette

Professional Behavior

  • We strive to maintain a positive and professional environment. Please treat our staff and other customers with respect and courtesy.

Children and Guests

  • For safety and comfort, children under 13 are not allowed in the salon and are not able to receive any service.
  • We kindly ask that you limit the number of guests you bring to your visit to ensure a relaxing environment for all clients.

Personal Belongings

  • Please always keep personal belongings with you. Arewa Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Salon Services

Consultation

  • A consultation is provided at the beginning of each visit to understand your needs and preferences. Please communicate openly with your stylist to ensure the best results.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please let us know before you leave the salon so we can address any concerns.

Braids Services

  • For your convenience, Braiding hair in the colors # (1, 1B, 4, 27, and 30) will be included in your service.
  • Clients will be given a $20 discount in the case where we do not provide the braiding hair.  
  • Human hair can be purchased from the store for boho/bora braid styles.

Salon Payments

Forms of Payment

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other specified payment methods.
  • Please note that credit/debit card payments are subject to a 2.9% + $0.30 fee.
  • Full payment is required at the time of service.

Gratuities

  • Gratuities are not included in the service price but are greatly appreciated. You may leave a tip in cash or add it to your credit/debit card payment.

Health and Safety

Hygiene and Cleanliness

  • We adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards. All tools and equipment are sterilized between clients.
  • Please inform us if you have any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs that may affect your service.

COVID-19 Precautions

  • Masks and sanitizers are available for clients.
  • If you feel unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19, please visit us another time.

  • Your personal information is confidential and will only be used for salon-related purposes.

Promotions and Discounts

  • Promotions and discounts are subject to terms and conditions. They cannot be combined with other offers unless specified.
